I'm back!

Wow - a month worth of research certainly takes you away from blogging. Well, I'm back from Winterthur and have lots of files of photocopies and information to sort through as I start back to work on the dissertation. I can't wait! And the knitting hasn't stopped while I was away.
  • I made my first ever sock - I just need to finish grafting the toe (thankfully Interweave Knits has a tutorial on grafting this month ;)
  • Then, I started a poncho made from Patons Divine. I finished about 12 inches on one rectangle and realized that it was too wide, so frogged it back.
  • I put the butterfly blanket on hold because I lost the pattern. But I found it again and hope to pick that up again soon.
  • I bought a bunch of Patons Classic Wool to make a sweater for DH. Pattern will be from this month's Interweave Knits.

It's great to be home and I hope to get back to blogging more regularly soon.

Oh yeah - Lauren asked me what I was going to be felting. I think I'm going to start with a small bag - maybe even the booga bag pattern without the stripes. We'll see...
